Today we got up around 9am. We left all our clothes outside overnight to get dry. I overloaded the washing machine the night before so everything was drenched. We left most of it out when we left because a lot of it was still damp.
Our first plan was to go to the science and technology museum that contained inventions and sketches of Leonardo da Vinci.
When we arrived we paid 7 euros each and started looking around. We came across a steam engine for a factory.
An old medicine room.
An old battery.
An old globe.
A demonstration of interference between two signals.
An old video camera.
An old fiat engine.
A sun bed. Basically a chair surrounded by light bulbs.
We arrived in the area of da Vinci.
After about 2 hours we left and attempted to see the last supper picture.
Unfortunately to see a picture of the last supper you have to book two weeks in advance and pay 8 euro each. So we decided to just look at it on Google images instead.
On our way back we decided to top up on water and get some snacks. It started to rain ever so slightly as we entered the supermarket.
Then as we were buying our goods we looked outside and saw like a thunderstorm with hailstones. Or should I say hail rocks. We waited to see if it would die down.
We ended up running back to our hostel drenched head to toe. To our horror all the clothes we left out were all over the floor and soaking. We had no socks so getting ready for the night was tough.
We agreed to meet a girl called Nancy at the bar mas along the navaglia strip at 8pm.we eventually arrived and got some cocktails. When you buy a drink you can get a buffet inside the bar that lasts until 10pm
After a long chat we walked along the strip and got some photos on the bridge.
This was our last night in Milan and tomorrow we leave to Florence.
Thanks for reading 🙂
