Day 20

Our first nights stay was a humid one. When we woke up at 8am we got ready and had breakfast where we were staying. Quite a selection.

Stuttgart is known for its industrial roots. Mercedes and Porsche headquarters are here and both had museums and showrooms like BMW. So it was a choice between the two. So we chose…….

image

It was closer and ranked 1st of attractions on trip advisor. Porsche was 7km away so wasn’t plausible for today.

So many nice cars outside the museum.

The museum was far better than the BMW one. We also got a free audio guide. The layout, information and navigation was just far better. We learned so much.

Here are some of the photos taken throughout.

After looking at these amazing cars we had some food at the Mercedes restaurant. We had some german meals.

Next stop was the showroom to see the modern cars.

After joe having a look in a smart car we started with the C class.

It got to around 3pm and we had finished looking around. We decided to get the subway to the main city. We weren’t expecting much to do to be honest but we thought to go anyway as it was too early to go back.

To our surprise a huge summer festival was on. So we got involved.

image

As we walked further on there was a big gathering of people sitting down drinking beer and all sorts of food.

Some of the music was really good but at the same time quite odd. It was gypsy rock/pop so it was definitely a new experience for us.

We left about 8 because we didn’t want to miss the last trains home.
