Tribe of the Accord Game Reveal
I'm thrilled to finally share some exciting news with all of you! For the past three years, I've been passionately working on a video game project, called Tribe of the Accord. This game is more than just pixels and code—it's a world imbued with intriguing lore, innovative gameplay mechanics, and characters that I can't wait for you to meet. Starting this September, I'll kick off the marketing campaign, where you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the development process, sneak peeks, and much more. But that's not all! Come next April, I'm planning to release a working demo that will allow you to experience an episode of this magical journey firsthand. The road ahead is long, but incredibly exciting, and I can't wait to show you what is ahead. Stay tuned for more updates!
Tribe of the Accord is a 2D action RPG with rogue-like elements featuring pixel-art design and hunter-gatherer gameplay. Centered on Adira, a young girl raised by Torion, the game offers a linear, evolving narrative. Players navigate a dynamic world with day-night cycles, explore procedurally generated caves, interact with objects and NPCs, and advance through quest-driven storytelling.
Check out the DevLog
There is also a Dev Log on the game that you can read about. This dev log is intended to be an in-depth, candid look into the various aspects of game design and development. You'll get insights into the challenges we face, the milestones we hit, and the creative decisions that shape the world of the game. Whether you're a fellow game developer, an avid gamer, or just someone interested in the creative process, the dev log will provide a unique window into the hard work and inspiration that go into creating a video game. From concept art and level design to coding and soundscaping, you'll get to see it all. I believe in the value of sharing knowledge and the beauty of collaborative inspiration, so I'm incredibly excited for you to join us in this aspect of the journey as well. Keep an eye out for regular updates!
